Back-to-school sales have started. Whether you are a student or not, it's the best time of year to shop for a pair of shorts or a denim dress, or both.
Better yet, a good pair of shorts can work underneath a minidress or a short dress with a handkerchief hem (like the one shown in my photo), to prevent you from wardrobe malfunction. Why not seize the current denim-on-denim trend by combining denim shorts with a short denim dress?
It's notable that there are now pull-on denim shorts without a bulky front zipper panel that would create the illusion of a tummy. Let's go for pull-on denim shorts made of stretchy material, especially when wearing a crop top.
Among denim shorts, mine comes in the most figure-flattering style. The lack of a front zipper panel keeps the tummy flat. The rolled-up hems will make the thighs look thinner by contrast.
